Okay, okay. I can understand why people would think it was canon… But it’s not.
I, personally, ship AkuRoku really, really hard. And yes, there are tons of homoerotic subtext throughout the entirety of 358 and KHII and the manga and everything else that you can interpret how ever you damn well please…
But that doesn’t make it canon, and just because Axel/Lea is now “looking for something”, we don’t know what that “something” might be. Who says it even has anything to do with Roxas at all?
Roxas is back inside of Sora, which is something that cannot be changed.
So even if Nomura wanted to make AkuRoku canon, it would be sort of impossible at this point, unless somehow Roxas split from Sora.
Which I very seriously doubt that’s going to happen as much as I, and half of the fandom would like for it to.
